The Juno IC22R 6-inch Incandescent Remodel Housing is a versatile and energy-efficient lighting solution designed for applications where the back side of the ceiling is not accessible. This double-wall constructed housing can be completely covered with insulation and vertically adjusts to accommodate up to a 1-inch ceiling thickness, making it an ideal choice for a variety of remodeling projects.

The housing features an adjustable socket plate and detachable socket with snap-in springs, allowing for the installation of various bulb and trim combinations. The socket plate is secured at two points to ensure consistent, straight lamp positioning and holds a medium base porcelain socket with a nickel-plated copper screw shell that accepts an incandescent light bulb.

The IC22R is easy to install, thanks to the factory-installed remodel springs that accommodate up to 1 3/4-inch ceiling thickness. The housing comes with a pre-wired junction box featuring five 1/2-inch knockouts with pryout slots, four non-metallic sheathed cable connectors, and a ground wire.

The IC22R is UL Listed, C-UL/CSA certified for damp and wet locations, and approved for through-branch wiring, with a maximum of four 12-AWG conductors. When used with the appropriate trim, the housing is wet location listed, allowing for versatile installation options.
